At TWC, we want to provide as much service as possible. Here are a list of questions that many of our customers have asked us in the past. We have tried to provide the best answers possible. Some of the questions might actually make your online shopping experience with us run smoother. This list should continue to get larger and hopefully answer the questions you have. If you can't find the answer you are looking for, please contact us. Good luck!

Question: The item I want to purchase says "Good funds only". What does this mean?
With the advent of significantly higher prices for some Magic the Gathering products, TWC is unwilling to accept any form of payment that can be rescinded. Examples of good funds are as follows: A bank cashiers check from a major U.S. bank. A money order from the U.S. Postal service or Western Union or any other highly recognized firm. Wire transfers will also work, but there will be a $20.00 upcharge for the fees associated with this form of payment. We are very sorry but we will NOT accept credit cards or PayPal for these transactions.

Question: What is the Wizardís Cupboard policy on pre-orders?
The Wizardís Cupboard makes every attempt not to offer, for sale, any item in their judgment they believe is not going to be available or in such short supply as to cause a disruption in their supply. In other words, we make every attempt to fulfill all of our pre-order orders. Whether or not it is advantageous for us to do so or not. We honor all of our commitments, if it is humanly feasible to do so. When you preorder from us we intend to complete the transaction and expect our customer to do so also.

Question: What shipping options do you offer?
For US customers, we offer USPS Regular, USPS Regular with Delivery Confirmation, Priority (2-3 business days, includes Delivery Confirmation), and Express (1-2 business days guaranteed, includes Delivery Confirmation). For all other countries, we can offer other shipping options if you contact us. We have probably the cheapest shipping you will find for a Magic store using USPS.

Question: How long will items stay in my cart?
For guests, if you remain inactive for one hour, your shopping cart will empty. For users with an account, items will never empty from your shopping cart automatically.
(Note: The expiration time was 15 minutes until 1/14/2004. It is now 1 hour.)

Question: Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship all over the world. However, recent Wizards of the Coast policies prohibit us from selling booster packs or booster boxes for any set later than Darksteel outside of the US.

Question: Are the reviews monitored by The Wizard's Cupboard?
Absolutely. The reviews are a great place for customers to learn about the products. We do our best to filter out reviews that abuse the policies we have set forth and all reviews are subject to modification or removal by our staff for any unwanted material.

Question: Can I have my items shipped to an address other than the address on my account?
Yes. Every customer has the option to hold up to 3 extra addresses in their address book. When checking out, you will see an option to change the delivery address. We are extremely precautious when shipping to an address that is different from the billing address and hold the right to email or call the customer for confirmation.

Question: I had all these items in my cart and when I came back to your site to order them, there were insufficient quantities for some of them. Why?
Instead of guaranteeing that you will be able to order all products in your cart and expiring carts after a set time frame (like many sites do), we only guarantee items once an order is placed. Because our stock changes frequently each day and many of our customers like to build up their carts over a large time frame, we feel this is the best way to handle the shopping cart process.

Question: Is ordering with TWC safe?
You should feel confident. Our secure server software (SSL) is among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all your personal information for protection so nobody else can gain access to it.

Question: My credit card keeps getting denied but I know I entered all the card information correctly. What is wrong?
The most common problem is that the address you entered when signing up for the Wizard's Cupboard does not match the billing address for the credit card. To fix this, you can go to Edit Account and change the address so it is the same as your billing address.

Question: If I place a review for a single, will that review show up for the same single in other sets?
Yes. If you place a review on Black Lotus in Unlimited for example, that review will show up for Black Lotus in Beta and Alpha. The reviews did not always work this way. This change was made on 1/3/2003.

Question: Why are emails sent to me by The Wizard's Cupboard showing up with strange text?
When signing up, you have the option of receiving email in HTML or Text. If you chose HTML and your email program does not handle HTML, this may be the problem. To edit your email option, go to Edit Account.

Question: How do I use Product Notifications?
If you would like to be notified of every price or quantity change that is made to a specific product, just go into the products info and click on the clipboard in the right column. You can edit your Product Notifications by going to My Account and clicking on the Notifications button. You can then delete notifications on specific products.

Question: How can I edit my account?
Click on My Account at the top right of your browser and sign in, you will see an Edit Account button at the bottom.

Question: Is there a way for me to check on my order or to see all of my orders with The Wizard's Cupboard?
Yes. Go to the Order History page. There you can see all the orders you have placed with us and the status of each order as well as other information.

Question: Why is the shipping not included when the Paypal payment browser opens?
We are not sure why Paypal does so, but the shipping amount is not included until you provide your email and password in the boxes and hit continue. Then you will see the full price including shipping.
